Pumpkin Spice: It’s from Hell

Truthfully, I loathe pumpkin spice anything. First of all, it doesn’t even smell like pumpkin spice. If I smelled a pumpkin and it smelled like that, I’d think it was rotten, moldy, and needed to be in a landfill. I would definitely not think “Oh, yum! I smell the heady aroma of pumpkin spice and must have it! Pumpkin spice rules the world!”

Shoes – A Financial Lesson

When Tiffany F* was 19, she got her first grown up job. She was a hairdresser and the world was hers to conquer.

Sadly, money conquered her.

It started slowly, of course. Money flowed in. Suddenly, those cute shoes she couldn’t afford in high school were affordable. So she bought them. And pretty soon, every time she went to the mall she found something new to love. Boots. Scarves. Hats. Skirts. All of it made its way into her closet.

But it was mostly about the shoes. Isn’t it always?
