Happy Halloween!
Posted on October 31st, 2012I hope all of you have a great Halloween. This is one of my favorite holidays and I usually decorate inside and out. Sadly, as the parent of a teenager, I no longer have pictures of cute kids in pirate costumes, ready to go out trick or treating. Instead I get a surly teenager who won’t allow photos to be taken. So now you get some pictures of my dogs and the scariest room in my house

That’s Kirby – who is frankly disappointed she can’t wear her Tinkerbelle costume. Sadly, last year No-no Lulu ate the fairy wings.

And finally, the picture you have all been waiting for. The scariest room in my house:
Um, yeah. I am a bit humiliated that this is a normal day for this room.

It was like pulling teeth to get my son and his two friends (all 13 – 14) to stand in front of the garage for a picture before they headed out for thier teenage trick or treating fiesta.

@Jennifer, isn’t it funny that as they get older, they only want their photos taken in front of the bathroom mirror for their Facebook profiles? Sheesh.

I was a bad momma this year, I didn’t take many photos of Halloween costumed Children. I had taken a lot of the out of door decorating! Love the pictures of the fur babies dressed! Don’t worry, we all have one room or corner in our houses that look similar or worse than yours.
